Founded in 1978 as a small electrical contracting firm, Gull Wing Industries eventually expanded to design and manufacture portable power units in 1989. From 50 amp distros to trailer packages, we build to our customers’ needs.

Our company was proudly named the Alta Local Small Business of the Year, as well as selected by the Entrepreneurial Initiative award by the local SCORE chapter. Our owner, Al Wadsley was also recognized by the United States Small Business Administration as the 2002 Des Moines, Iowa, District Office Small Business Person of the Year Award first runner-up.
